Our Experience
Over 275 years of environmental experience collectively (for an average of 21 years of environmental experience per specialist).
Performed Phase I/Phase II environmental site assessments and remediation activities at 128 privately or publicly-funded Brownfield sites.
12 employees qualify as “Environmental Professionals” per AAI standards.
Managed remediation for 11 U.S. EPA-funded Brownfield projects, 14 federally-funded CERCLA projects, and 2 federally-funded OCRA projects.

IWM was recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with the National Notable Achievement Award for Brownfields Team Excellence for strategic revitalization efforts associated with the Tinker Flats project. 2019
Lincoln Apartments/National Malleable Castings project received a U.S. EPA Region 5 National Recognition Award for the creative approach to securing multiple funding sources. 2015
The City of Indianapolis received the Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellence in Land Use: Brownfields Redevelopment Project for the Former Foundry site that was redeveloped into Lincoln Apartments. 2014
The City of Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development Phase I ESA Area Wide Survey Project received National Recognition from the U.S. EPA for its innovative approach to community wide assessments. 2007
