EPA National Notable Achievement Award for brownfields team excellence 2019

Tinker Flat site remediation helped attract funding to Smart Growth Redevelopment District.

We are honored to be recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with the National Notable Achievement Award for Brownfields Team Excellence in 2019. Our efforts in remediation with the Tinker Flats site on 16th Street have helped lay the foundation to attract $46 million dollars of investment in the Smart Growth Redevelopment District. We appreciated the chance to work with Slate Capital, King Park Development Corporation, and the city of Indianapolis to prepare the old Tinker Site building for productive reuse after over 20 years of sitting vacant.
